Website Design
I am not a designer. Although I am capable of putting up a basic website with some simple custom graphics, it is not one of my stronger talents. Not every website needs to be slick and flashy, in fact, sometimes this can work against you, but it is important that your site be designed by someone who knows that they are doing. I have worked with some of the best designers in the country. Bionic Arts, Wyldesites.com to name a couple. Hiring a design company can be dicey, some will sell you a template site that has been used 100 times, others will give you shoddy code. I will tell you what aspects of your site need to be focused on to achieve your goals, and I can refer you to someone who will do what you need for reasonable rates.
Email Marketing
I have a strong background in email marketing. I have managed large, highly profitable lists (8 million active subscribers). I am well versed in compliance issues and laws, and I know the CAN SPAM act front to back. I am not involved in email marketing currently, but if you need a consultant to show you proper list management techniques, mailing methods, setting up mailing software, and teaching you how to stay out of the bulk folder, that can be done.
Website usability
What do you do with the customer once you have them? Website usability is too often ignored. You have an average of 8 seconds to grab a visitor and entice them into looking around your site. I have completed several seminars on website usability, searching and surfing habits, and eye tracking. When designing a website it is recommended that you study the habits of your targeted demographic. I am able to organize a focus group and gather the necessary information to improve your users experience.
Affiliate Marketing
Proper affiliate marketing can skyrocket your sales overnight. In order to do this, you will need to have a custom affiliate program designed, or you can start with an off the shelf solution. You can also join several existing affiliate programs that already have a large base of affiliate advertisers. You pay a percentage of the sale to the advertiser. If done correctly, this can be extremely profitable.
