Nuance on the Samsung Behold

I made a post a couple days ago about my wish to have voice recognition blog posting over the phone. I wanted to be able to make posts or notes while I was walking to work, I do my best thinking at that time.  I just got a new cell phone, well new to me. Its a Samsung Behold. It’s another iphone wannabee but I like new phones, its fun to find out all the stuff they can do without reading the manual . In this case there is no manual because I traded it to for my Dash.

ANYWAY… I was messing around with it and hit the voice dial button and lo and behold, the Nuance logo appeared. Thats pretty cool. I have a real  love affair with dragon naturally speaking, although I still don’t think its ready for prime time, well either that or maybe i jess don’ talk so good.  Whatever, it was ironic and I thought it was cool. Nuance getting in bed with Samsung on phones means that what I want is not far to follow.

Hey, also, I know this is not breaking news. Not by a long shot, but its news to me and that’s all I really care about.

I was just going through my webstats and noticed I got some Google traffic for people looking for Brad Hicks. It was probably Brad Googleing himself, you shouldn’t do that Brad. Anyway, I make no secret of what a joke I think local news is, I am not alone in this and I don’t have much to say that hasn’t been said before. I did find something pretty funny however. I had mentioned Brad Hicks in a post about a couple trash stories on the news lately that were messing with local business. The only reason I mentioned Brad was because of his garish ties and the fact that he just looks like he would smoke weed. Which is totally fine by me. Anyway, I googled Brad Hicks and came across this page.

Unproductive

I had a really unproductive weekend. I hate that. Some days I just cant seem to muster up the energy to do anything, let alone be creative. I am still mulling over a couple options in my head regarding career choices (clients really). I really want to get involved in this online auction project, but I have worked with the guy in the past and he’s a real live wire. He moves fast with little planning and  aside from me, he doesn’t hire the best help.  In the past I have really felt hindered when trying to get something done. The problem is that if this takes off, and I miss the boat – the kicking I shall give myself is really going to hurt.

The local business marketing thing is plugging along at a decent pace, but its certainly not exciting. In order for me to stick around a boring gig, there better be a TON of money involved.

The day job almost came to a boil on Friday, 5 minutes before close. My dissaproval for the way things are handled here is becoming more and more obvious and I am not holding back. I would imagine they are shopping around for my replacement. Good luck with that.

5 hour energy part 2

Bad sleep and a little too much wine at the full moon party last night, I am running on fumes. I picked up a couple 5 hour energy shots and I’m going to give them another shot. I got a bunch of traffic from the last time  I posted about the 5 hour energy drink, seems a lot of people are searching for it. They want to know if its safe and some also want to know about their marketing plan.

I don’t know about their marketing plan, I just read a story on msnbc about them and thought I’d give one a try. As far as safe, well, I’m not dead yet.

I am curious to see if it wakes me up. I also want to know if you can build a tolerance. Its just vitamin b and niacin. I wonder if getting 16,666% of your daily recommended amount of vitamin b is bad for you?
