My girlfriend ended up working out her problems with Venue.com.  They asked her to ask me to remove what I wrote. The deal was that if they fixed the problem,  I would remove the posts. I do what I say.

I don’t know the history of Venue.com, who they were before they were Venue or what their business practices were. All I can say now is that my girlfriend had a problem with them, it took a bit of effort to get through to them, but in the end – they fixed it. She did in fact end up buying a plasma TV from them at a reasonable price.  I did some research and it wasn’t much more than amazon.com was selling it for. The TV arrived and as far as I can tell, she seems happy with it.

Venue.com IS a scam!! My son received a preapproved offer and ordered an IPOD and an All-in-one printer. He received the IPOD, but absolutely NO WORD on the printer, which seems to be listed as “backordered” — it’s been almost a month since he placed his order and still, no printer and no word from Venue.

I told my son to contact our State Attorney General to file a complaint. As soon as he has received his first bill and has paid his IPOD off, Venue.Com will be put to sleep. It’s sad that companies like this get to prey on people.

I wouldn’t advise ANYONE to purchase ANYTHING from these scammers!!!
